Will You Be a Candidate?

Anyone who has call Mensa an organization, knows little about Mensa. Even though leading Mensans is like herding cats, there is a need for those who will serve for the greater good.

Our Elections will be coming up in about 4 months. It is time to build the slate of those seeking office. We are actively seeking candidates for: ALL OFFICES! That is right, we would like to seek two or more names listed on the ballot for each elected office so there truly is a choice and we have found that participation in the election is greater when there is competition for the offices.

If you are willing and able to serve, and wish to do so, let me know at your early convenience. If you have in mind a likely candidate for any of our offices, ask them to volunteer and encourage them to seek office.

We could also use a person to advocate and co-ordinate activities and interests for those members under 35. This probably won't be an elected office, but without a point person, it will be more difficult for those younger members to get together for activities. Anyone wishing to help in this way, please come forward so your interests can be expressed, activities planned, and both published.
